My name is Richard B. Finley. My familiar name is Rick. A brief history and some facts about me.

I have been teaching for 10 years now (2 as a substitute). I enjoyed a 25 year career as a bank manager that I believe allows me to share some "Life Skills" that are not addressed in the normal curriculm. I have lived in the Verde Valley(Cornville) for 30 years and had 2 children graduate from Mingus. I was raised in South Dakota and Wyoming and received my degree in finance from the University of Wyoming. I still have one daughter and a 6 year old grandson at home and enjoy fishing, gardening and all sports. I am very excited about the opportunity to teach you/your children. If I had not gone into banking I would have gone into teaching and coaching....now I have my chance!

  This site will be a great source of communication, filled with things like homework assignments, class schedules, announcements, and so much more.
